Judgment recovery professionals perform an essential role in

The SCAJP was formed by dedicated judgment recovery specialists living and running businesses in South Carolina.  Our purpose in organizing was to “Build a strong foundation through education, unity, and structure”, create a network of specialists across the state, share experiences and ideas, expand our resources, and bring recognition to our profession.

Our members and supporters come from many backgrounds in life: paralegal, criminal justice, collections, investigators, teachers, students, ect; each with the common goal of helping make Judgment Recovery a recognized Profession with ethical standards.  All members are required to provide proof of business, pay the SCAJP membership fees, and comply with the professional and ethical guidelines when enforcing judgments.

Consistent with that role, they have responsibilities to all those who utilize their services.   Professionals also have a continuing responsibility to cooperate with each other to improve the business of judgment recovery, maintain the public's confidence, and carry out the profession's special responsibilities for self -goverance.  The collective efforts of all professionals are required to maintain and enhance the traditions of the profession
